And being the female she takes feed from the low perch .
so that the male in all his splendor may take the higher perch

I've always been fascinated by that effect in nature, the males being flashier, prettier. Then compare to humans, where the women go to great effort to be prettier than the males. :); 22 August 2007 at 18:31

hi welcome to my blog.
at the moment i have to try every thing out, thats in this blogging lark so if you see some big mistakes . ITS NOT MY

just having laugh well you have too !!
so i do hope you will enjoy my photo's as much as i do and i also
hope you will understand that if a picture is a little bit out of
focus ; it sometimes happens you just got to get the shot
regardless to wheather or not the camera setting are right.
landscapes , skyscapes , wildlife, bugs and birds . so there we have it , some of my pic's I will add a few words but not all, as I would like you too have a say , if you like it say so , if you don't well say you don't [keep it sweet though] thanks
