long tail tit

I was watching all around, as seven or eight
of these little fellows fly from tree to tree,
their constance chitter chatter makes it
hard to pin down exactly where they land
as they quickly move on to the next branch.
just by chance this one landed in front of me,
I raised the camera to my eye,
not quite ready he flew straight at me,
so I just clicked away and hope for the best ,
so as you see the focus is a bit out.
[better luck next time]

Oh I think the "little out of focus" makes it a great picture with those little wings a flapping...did you have to duck???

He's a beautiful bird Old Git out of focus or not. Wanda asks a good question - what's the answer?

no ducks in this picture. [hehe]

I was about 10 feet away using a telephoto lens, and these birds are very nimble and turn very quickly.
