holiday blight

Off on holiday in daddy's new four by four , a big black car with everything.
Sat-nav to show you the way, dvd players behind every seat.
Black out windows so no-one sees in ,cool inside with air conditioning .
Baggage and suitcases all pile in, mum and dad in front, kids in the back.
Dad drives fast showing off the new car, mums asleep,children watch a dvd.
Nobody sees the country side ,towns and special places.
Arrive at hire cottage for one week .
Dad rushes in,I'm tired! closely followed by the children who fight over
which room to sleep in, while mums still bringing everything in.
Dad says when are we going to eat , mums rushed off her feet.
Children fighting again , wanting to plug the play station in.
Dads had enough and gone to bed children fight some more,
there getting bored and mums on the paracetamol.
The cottage owner passes by ,is everything alright!
Mum chats for ten minutes maybe more , owner goes away, enjoy your stay!
And they did ,never went out, never saw the beauty all around.
Play station, t v and laptop, always on , don't want to get the car dirty
while they are away.
Time to go, that week went quick, its your mothers fault she aways sick.
